What is ecommerce? Ecommerce of course is the art or process of doing business online. You can call it whatever you want, but a tiger by a different name is still a tiger. And that is the way I feel.
You can call ecommerce web business, you can call ecommerce online business, you can call ecommerce home internet business – you can call it anything you want – but it is basically the art of making money online.
So what are the basics to making money with ecommerce?
There are two basics to making money online, with ecommerce? One is that of traffic, and the other is conversions. You have to have conversions to make any money online, and you have to have traffic to get conversions, that is for sure.
So how do you get conversions? One of the big things is that you have to develop a relationship with your traffic. And I think the best way to create a relationship with your traffic is to build a list – that way you can communicate with them on a regular basis.
And the best way, in my opinion, to get traffic is by writing articles and submitting them to the various online article directories – commonly called article marketing.
So your pattern for making money with ecommerce, if you apply the basics, and you do the basics the very best way possible – then you will drive traffic using article marketing and you will build conversions with list building. That is the way I do it – article marketing and list building for making profits in ecommerce.

But rather than conducting business in the traditional way in shopping stores or through mail order catalogs and telephone operators — in e-commerce buyers and sellers transact business over networked computers.
E-commerce offers buyers maximum convenience. They can visit the web sites of multiple vendors round the clock a day to compare prices and make purchases, without having to leave

Not So Quiet on the Set (My Life in Movies During Hollywood's Macho Era) Book Reviews: A showbiz memoir masquerading as a sociological treatise, "Not So Quiet on the Set" makes much of Robert Relyea's alliance with Steve McQueen. Too much, in fact. Relyea's five-year partnership with McQueen may have been his closest brush with celebrity, but it was far from his first or last interaction with a larger-than-life showbiz character.

Freestyle Releasing Global Independents 2008: Honing alternative business model -- With fewer distribs acquiring festival product, domestic booking expert Mark Borde and international sales vet Susan Jackson joined forces in 2004 to create Freestyle Releasing. Unlike the average service distrib, Freestyle has DVD and international distribution deals with Fox and Odd Lot Entertainment that their clients can tap. If a filmmaker runs short on P&A, Freestyle can work with them to secure ad funds. Company has demonstrated finesse in luring the under-21 male crowd to such genre fare as Uwe Boll's fantasy pic "In the Name of the King" ($4.8 million) and Korean monster import "Dragon Wars" ($11 million). Impressed with the duo's talents, Yari Film Group formed a joint venture with Freestyle to book a bulk of its slate. And while Freestyle may collect a fee to release films, that's not to say that the company takes just any indie pic under its wing. Says Borde, "We have to deliver quality films to our exhibitors in order to compete with the studios."
